Raast P2M (Peer-to-Merchant) QR scanner has been fully released to all users on Android and iOS. Users must update their apps to see the ‘Scan QR’ option.



User unable to scan the QR Code

Solution:

  1. Confirm if the user is scanning Raast Peer to Merchant (P2M) QR Codes.

  2. Some old QR codes are not supported (e.g., EasyPaisa QR codes with a white background).

  3. If the QR code does not scan, the issue is with the QR itself. Ask the user to share a picture of the QR code, date & time of attempt and create a JIRA ticket on the App Feedback Escalation board. 


Note: 

  • SBP has asked us to disable IBANs for Raast P2M flow since other banks are not ready to support this yet. This means that when you tap on Scan QR -> Enter merchant info manually -> You will get an error if you enter IBAN.
  • Not a lot of users will be impacted but if you get this concern in chat, ask them to use:
        A QR or alias (till code, etc) for merchant or for IBAN, use the regular send money flow for transferring to individuals.


User's payment is failed

  1. If payment has failed then check logs and raast portal. 
  2. Following are the troubleshooting steps for L2 team from Mixpanel. 
  3. The issue can also be raised on JIRA ticket on the App Feedback Escalation board.
